⇝ For many people, the idea of reading through the entire Bible is intimidating
⇝ Many people don't know if they will actually understand what they read.
⇝ Even if they make it through, many people are concerned they won't be able to apply it to life in a meaningful way
⇝ Then there is the question of “even if I read it, will I actually grow and change from it?
…And this might hit you hard:
⇝ Many of us “declined” or “renounced” the Christians faith but have never actually studied the Bible to fully understand it
⇝ Many of us engage in church activities but have never read the Bible in a way that we understand it in its totality.
⇝ Many of us have affection for the “person” of Jesus Christ but little affection for the bigger “plan” that brought the person of Jesus to the world.
⇝ Many of us Christians cannot not really defend our faith
So why do this NOW?
⇝ Your good works are great…but your knowledge of the word of God is the foundation and if you are missing that, you are missing everything
⇝ Because when you come out of this, you would have found community, deepened your knowledge, gotten discipleship, and actually learned scripture as a whole. EVERYTHING changes from there on.

To help ensure we are applying what we are learning, we build discipleship and accountability into the challenge. Often, we explore the question: How does God want us (collectively) and me (individually) to apply what we are learning? Then we encourage each other to apply it.

We don't want this to be another rushed exercise. This will probably take about 2 years. By the time we are done, you’ll have such a deeper understanding of the Bible!
