WHAT IS GROWTH TRACK

From receiving to giving

Ever wondered what Ignite Church is all about? Do you have questions about God? Interested in serving at Ignite? Then, Growth Track is for you! As you go through the four tracks, you’ll have the opportunity to discover God, learn more about yourself and how you can become a catalyst for positive change in the world.

Growth Track helps you understand Ignite, discover your place in the body, and take practical steps toward serving.

Who’s it for?

Required for volunteers and highly encouraged for members of the Ignite community.

You'll need two free accounts: Teachable to watch the course, and Church Center to sign up and track your journey.

Before you start

A month-long hybrid course

HOW IT WORKS

All four tracks live on Teachable, and you work through them at your own pace once your cohort opens.

To pass, watch every video and pass every quiz.

Online course

Held in the Growth Track office with your facilitator and cohort. One at the halfway mark, one at the end for review.

Both are required to complete the course.

The Four Tracks

TrackONE —
Discover God Again

Everyone was born with a space for God in their hearts and minds. Everyone has the desire to know and feel known by God. As we grow up, however, this can become tainted by how sometimes even well-meaning people in faith express this God to us.

TrackONE is about stepping away from our biases, experiences and everything we think we know, and rediscovering the truth about God, what He wants, how He thinks, who we are to Him and where we fit in His plan.

Discover Ignite Church

“Build a community where people discover a family, realize they are more than they think, and become catalysts for positive change in the world.”

TrackTWO allows you to explore the ministry of Ignite Church and find out how to connect with our church.

TrackTHREE will help you find out what it means to be a servant-leader and learn how you can strengthen your character and gifting to fulfill your leadership potential. Dive into the details of your personality, discover your gifts, and see how your design reveals your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry.

FAQS

  • Yes. All four tracks live on Teachable, so you'll need a free account there to watch the videos and take the quizzes. When your cohort opens we'll send you a link to set one up if you don't have one already. It only takes a minute, and you'll use the same account for the whole course.

  • Yes, and it does a different job. Church Center is where you sign up for a cohort and where your progress through the Faith Journey is recorded, so your facilitator can see where you are and follow up. Teachable holds the course itself. You'll need both.

  • Growth Track runs once a quarter, so there are stretches between cohorts. If you land on the sign-up and there's no cohort open, you'll see a short interest form instead. Fill it in and we'll email you a sign-up link as soon as the next one opens.

  • Growth Track picks up after the first steps of the Faith Journey, so you need to have taken Rooted and made your decision to follow Jesus first. If you're not sure where you are, take a look at the Faith Journey page; it walks through the four stages and it only takes a moment. If there's a step to take before Growth Track, we'll point you to it.

  • There are two, and both held in the Growth Track office with your facilitator and the rest of your cohort. One happens at the halfway point and one at the end for review. Dates are set per cohort, so check your group event calendar (on Church Center) for the details. If you can't find it, message your facilitator.

  • Both sessions are required to complete Growth Track, so if you know in advance that you can't make one, tell your facilitator as early as you can.
