WHY BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward declaration of your faith in Jesus. It is a public step of obedience that shows you have identified with Christ and are choosing to walk in new life.
Water Track is the class that gets you there. It helps you understand the meaning and importance of water baptism, and prepares you to publicly declare the inward work God has done in your life.
Anyone who has decided to follow Jesus and wants to be baptized. Baptism comes after that decision on the Faith Journey.
Who’s it for?
You’ll need a free Church Center account to sign up and to keep your Faith Journey up to date, and Zoom for the class itself.
Before you start
HOW IT WORKS
Teaching, then baptism
A single session taught live on Zoom by an instructor, with the rest of your group. Come with your questions — there’s room to ask them.
Water Track
Once you’ve been through the class, you’re ready to be baptized in person with the rest of your group.

1) What baptism means
Where baptism comes from, what it symbolizes, and why it has been the mark of following Jesus from the very beginning.
2) Why it’s a public step
Baptism is a declaration, not a private decision. This is about why the church gathers to witness it, and what you’re saying when you go under the water.
3) What happens on the day
The practical side: what to wear, what to bring, who to invite, and exactly what will happen from the moment you arrive.
