WHY BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward declaration of your faith in Jesus and a public step of obedience that shows you have identified with Christ and are choosing to walk in new life.
Water Track helps prepare you for baptism by explaining its meaning, importance, and biblical significance. It also helps you understand what you are publicly declaring through baptism.
Water Baptism is for anyone who has made a personal decision to follow Jesus and is ready to publicly declare that faith through baptism — an important next step on the Faith Journey.
Who’s it for?
You’ll need a free Church Center account to register and keep your Faith Journey up to date, along with access to Zoom for the Water Track session.
Before you start
HOW IT WORKS
Preparation, then baptism
A single session taught live on Zoom by an instructor, with the rest of your group. Come with your questions — there’s room to ask them.
Water Track
Once you’ve been through the class, you’re ready to be baptized in person with the rest of your group.
Baptism Day
INSIDE WATER TRACK
What you’ll cover
01 What baptism means
Where baptism comes from, what it symbolizes, and why it has been the mark of following Jesus from the very beginning.
02 Why it’s a public step
You’ll learn why the church gathers to witness baptism and what you are declaring as you go into and come out of the water.
03 What happens on the day
The practical side: what to wear, what to bring, who to invite, and exactly what will happen from the moment you arrive.
